Recent Tax Collector Office News

  • On July 11, 2017, the Collier County Board of Commissioners passed Ordinance 2017-35 amending Collier County Ordinance 92-60, raising the Collier County Tourist Development Tax to 5% effective September 1, 2017. Therefore, Tourist Development Tax shall be calculated at 5% for all short-term occupancies occurring September 1, 2017 and thereafter.

  • Beginning Monday, May 15th, the Tax Collectors office in Building C of the Courthouse complex will be undergoing renovations. Property Tax and Motor Vehicle services at the Courthouse office are temporarily relocating to Building G (across from the museum).

    Concealed Weapons service will remain open in Building C during the renovation.

  • Collier County Tax Collector Larry H. Ray has partnered with Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam to pass legislation that extends the opportunity for residents of Collier County to apply for a statewide Concealed Weapon Permit through the office of the Collier County Tax Collector.

  • Our Pelican Bay branch located at 8771 Tamiami Trail North closed permanently as of December 30th, 2015.  Tax collector services are available at two nearby locations, 2335 Orange Blossom Drive or 2348 Immokalee Road. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • A Mobile Driver License Road Test Unit has been established and road testing is available at the Immokalee Branch by appointment.  Appointments can be made starting by calling 239-434-4600. Click here for more information.
